Parthos completely automatic XXL sliding walls

A 13.5 meter wide and 3.5 meter high completely automatic XXL sliding wall has been used for this project in Schladming, Austria (WK ski 2013). (Hanging from 3 trolleys, this steel frame has a weight of 1550 kg.) The completely automatic XXL sliding wall can move 800 kg per trolley using the track 9 and trolley FG4 which have been newly developed by Parthos. Acoustic sealing is guaranteed by the automatic shoe closing when the wall arrives in closed position. Start and downshift delays take care of a nice, gradual run-up and stop of the wall via frequency regulation. The chain is supported with Teflon conduction. The wall stops moving when releasing the key when operating the key with dead man's function on the closing side of the wall. A magnetic brake is placed on the motor for an emergency brake during opening and closing. Besides, there is a free running function on the motor so that the wall can be moved when there is a power failure, for instance.
